Dr. Bhandari is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Bhandari has earned a double degree as a medical and dental physician. He began his medical training at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, New York, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude (DDS) with a minor in Oral Diagnostic Sciences. He then attended the University at Buffalo School of Medical and Biomedical Sciences, earning a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD).
Dr. Bhandari completed a surgical internship at the Department of General Surgery in Buffalo, NY, where he effectively treated critically ill patients in intensive care, multi-trauma, and oncologic settings.
He then completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Buffalo, where he surgically and medically managed a spectrum of head and neck patients while obtaining invaluable clinical and practical experience. During his final year, Dr. Bhandari served as Chief Resident in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department.
Dr. Bhandari is fully licensed in New York as both a Physician and a Dentist. He holds Professional Society Memberships with the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Dental Association, and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
